What is a Digital Closet?
A digital closet is a space online where you can see all your items that Momad has in storage. You can schedule pickups & deliveries for individual items directly from your Digital Closet.
What types of items can I store?
We accept clothes, shoes, bags, hats, and sports gear. The stuff you actually need. 😉
Will my items be safe?
Every step from the moment we arrive at your door follows protocol.
Once in our facility, every item is immediately photographed and inventoried.
Our facilities have 24/7 security & are in undisclosed locations to prevent unwanted visitors.
Only trained Momad professionals are allowed inside our facilities.
We provide standard protection for every Momad customer which protects your items up to $10,000 in case of loss or damage. If you own a home, your homeowner insurance should cover you as well.
If our standard protection is not enough for you, we recommend contacting your insurance provider to purchase additional insurance.
What's the difference between "Pickup & Dropoff" and "Luggage Packing"?
A Pickup & Dropoff means that we are picking up items from you in your city or dropping off items to you in your city. Items are delivered hanged or folded.
A Luggage Packing is best for when you are planning on bringing your clothes somewhere else. We can either deliver packed luggage(s) to you in your Base City, or we can deliver them to you anywhere in the world. The choice is yours.
If we are sending items somewhere else in the world, you pay the shipping fees.
What is my base city?
Your base city is the city where we picked up your items.
What cities are you accepting items/offering pick-ups in?
Currently we will pick up your items in Miami. This is our base city. If you would like to be notified when Momad comes to your city, or request a new city, please follow the cities tab at the top of the page.
Do you really deliver items anywhere?
Yes. Any items that you have in storage with us can be sent anywhere.
You choose the items, we pack the bag, and deliver your items either to your base city or elsewhere, in which case you might need to pay additional shipping fees.
We usually ship clothes, shoes, and bags using our special Momad luggages.
At Momad, we love exploring the world and want to preserve its beauty. We are able to reduce significant amounts of waste by shipping items in our Luggages.
A side benefit is that you have an easy way to carry your items if you decide to continue your adventure elsewhere.
If you want to return your items & the luggage to Momad, we can arrange for your items to be shipped back to our warehouse or we can pick up the luggage/items from you when you return from your travels.
What happens after you pick up my items?
After we pick up your items, our couriers bring your items back to our Momad HQ where we photograph & inventory everything. Once the items are photographed, usually within 24 hours, you'll be able to view your items in your Momad Digital Closet.
What type of people use this service?
People use Momad for a variety of reasons. Many who use Momad often travel frequently to or live in our base cities (Miami & NYC) and want to have their items accessible whenever they need them.
Others who use Momad just enjoy the ease of being able to access their items on-demand. Nobody knows where life will take you, but at least with Momad you don't have to worry about accessing your closet when you need it most.
We also have customers who simply have no home at all. They've adopted the digital nomad lifestyle, working from various locations, & are very happy knowing that their items are safe and easy to access at any given moment.
How long does delivery take in a base city?
Deliveries can usually be done same-day (as long as they're requested before 11am).
I'm not in a base city, can I still sign up?
We want everyone to be able to live life without limitations. If you are interested in using our service, please contact us. We will try our best to make it work.
